    Hello

I just updated my S6 Edge+ to 6.0.1 after being offered the update today.
To my surprise, I now have 2 lock screens which is rather annoying.

My security is set to Pattern, so I normally draw a pattern to unlock.
Now however, I first need to swipe the screen (after pressing Home to activate the screen) and only then can I enter the pattern.

Is there any way to revert to the old way of pressing home to activate screen, then draw pattern?

    Thanks

I clicked on top right hand corner of that screen when it comes up and it gives you the option to disable. Have no idea where else to find it or turn it back on but that worked for me. Was very annoying

I can't seem to find this option that you're talking about. Maybe you've toggled some option?

Did you find a solution? I am having the same issue, and can't find any solutions to fix this.

JBaker... Can you please advise? Can you confirm exactly how you turned this off so we can revert back to just a PIN or PATTERN lock screen, as opposed to having to swipe once to access the PIN or PATTERN... If anyone else can chime in I would greatly appreciate it.

Ya this is ridiculous. Same problem...no fix. Am I reading correctly that this is supposed to be some kind of voice command feature? I have a phone and camera icon on my screen and neither of them work.
I've been very loyal Google but you are pushing my limits with this idiotic feature.

As far as I have found out, it's not a bug, but a feature that they intend to keep in. I finally gave up and am now using the fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is still a one step unlock thing and after a few days, I kinda got used to it, since I mostly hold my phone the same way in the same hand. Just make sure that you scan your fingers in the direction that you'd normally be able to do, with your phone in just one hand. (For example, I use my right thumb horizontally, for when I hold my phone in my right hand).

I like the having security options, but Samsung should allow the user/owner of the phone decide on how much security is good for them.

This new double check security feature is ridiculous.

I guess you have to disable all security just to use the phone conveniently.
