There are many Android phone manufacturers, ranging from big name ones like Samsung and Oneplus to lesser known like Redmi . However, I wish to ask what is the most obscure Android phone you have used from a company that is still in business.
I'll start with two lesser known, if not the most unknown names. Lava, an Indian company, not even in the top 5 OEM list in India as of last count [though rapidly increasing their sales]. Targets the middle end of the sector now though OS upgrades is not their priority [specs are and performance to price ratio is]. I don't assume they are much known in West either.
The second is Techno. They even launched a foldable, IIRC. And their phones can have crazy long batteries. But terrible OS skin [Hi OS], update cycle [mine was stuck at Android 12 only after release] but is exceptionally price conscious in nature. I think this is Chinese in origin.
