Is it true that using wifi on Your phone uses less battery than mobile data? I still have old unlimited data plans, but still.

It depends on the signal strength. I have a good WiFi connection at home, but also a very strong 4G signal. On the odd occasion our WiFi is down, I've never noticed any significant difference.

True that. That makes sense , signal strength makes a difference of course.

I'm in central Italy where 4g isn't widely available. When I do get into a 4g zone, the phone seems to consume more power. It could be I'm just happy to have the faster speed so I play with the phone more when in these areas :)
