My Minix Neo-U1 Android streaming box (Android Lollipop 5.1.1) has 16GB of internal memory which fills entirely too quickly, so I download video files onto a 256gb Sandisk USB thumb-drive.
Problem: any file named in brackets - ex: (Birthday party.mp4) or [Birthday party.mp4] shows up without a name, just the extension
ie: the file displays as ".mp4" instead of "Birthday party.mp4"
Bigger problem: If I forget to give the file a name, the file simply disappears and I'm forced to start again. The USB drives "lost.dir" file remains empty.
I've checked the drive for errors and reformatted it from fat32 to both exfat and ntfs with no fix to the issue.
Every other file downloads properly, my issue appears to be only with those bracketed names. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
