Has the LG Ally been rooted?

I'm looking to purchase a phone & the only thing bad about this seems to be the processor speed (aside from the camera). Has the Ally been rooted? I would like to overclock it to something a bit faster and also change the UI.

Run quadrant, the ally actually out performs the stock moto droid. If they are using TI processors you may be able to get some real speed on that phone.

Please follow up as I have a friend who is looking at this phone.
