I'm creating a android game and I need help rooting my phone for testing, I have a lg g2 sprint is my provider.

People have reported towelroot is working on many G2 variants, it doesn't require a computer.

Otherwise you will have to install ADB, then go to the ioroot thread and follow the manual directions (I think they are there with the files needed). It requires a pretty solid knowledge of using the terminal (command line) and adb/fastboot.

I learned how to use the terminal's adb commands for installing roms onto TWRP, but that's it. Maybe i'll do some reading on the subject. Thanks.

Except towelroot doesn't work on all variants or handsets... If you can "make it rain" your good to go, otherwise the manual method is required without Windows.

Finally, i'm up and running with the replacement phone. I'll be staying stock for a while, as i don't want a repeat of my last fiasco.
