How do I program the rear power button as camera shutter?

Program rear power button as camera shutter

Getting around to really appreciating the camera on my G3. I'm using the stock camera btw. If there are any suggestions for your favorite camera app, please post them.

Has anyone been able to program the rear power button as the camera shutter? It would be helpful when taking a selfie because the button is positioned in a perfect place to hold the camera with most amount of extension.

Probably if you're rooted. Unrooted, probably not. If you're unrooted, you could always use the hand gesture to take selfies without needing to push any buttons.

Edit: Also, just tried it, but both the volume up and volume down buttons can act as a shutter release, so you don't have to reprogram the power button.
