For some reason the G Pro seems better to me than the G2. Bigger screen, SD slot and removable battery.

Any reason I should get the G2 instead?

Not really. For the reasons you list, the OG Pro comes out ahead IMHO.

Only if you feel the need for a slightly faster processor and a few tweaks, and don't mind giving up a removable battery, an SD slot, and a little screen real estate to get it.

OGP for me, thanks. But we each have our own priorities.

My gf just got the LG2 and it's MUCH easier to use with one hand. And let's face it, there are many times you want to use a phone with one hand. The screen is slightly smaller but is still bigger than just about any other phone on the market. For some reason I can snap pics quicker with the G Pro camera than with the LG2 - it's like the LG2 is focusing slowly each time (maybe her settings are messed up). The LG2 does have an image stabilizer in its camera, unlike a G Pro, so that's a plus. As far as processor speeds - while there is a real difference, I can't tell the difference when actually using the phones.

I had the g2 and switched back to the g pro. I just love the screen and SD card on this. Plus I have a spare battery which is priceless. The battery life was better on the g2 but not by much. All and all I prefer the pro.

But we all know that the LG Optimus g pro is the most underrated phone on the market.

Agreed. I just got my white one this week and I'm truly impressed. This is my first lg smartphone coming from a note 2.

On one site the G Pro scored the second best smartphone of the year after the just released Note 3.
On another site the G2 won with the HTC one, Sony's Z1, the Note 3 and the iPhone 5s as runners up. No mention of the G Pro at all.
I bought mine on-line unlocked for $439 a month back after a lot of research and could not be happier.

I like my G Pro fine but battery life is not as good as my G2 and I usually wish the home button was both wider and perhaps raised. I love the screen and its performance. It also seems to have a pretty nice camera.
