Hello guys,

I just bought an LG Optimus G E987. The phone is great and so far I only found one dissappointment: The camera doesnt use the flash while attempting to focus when there is no light; it does flash once I touch the shoot button but I mean, every camera I ever had, cellphone or not cellphone, has always used their flash to illuminate what it is focusing... otherwise how could it focus something it cannot see.

Is this an issue with the phone itself or is mine that has come with a failure?

I would really appreciate your insights.

Thank you.

For some reason Samsung seems to be the only company that has figured out this is a necessary feature. HTC phones don't do it, LG doesn't seem to either, only Samsung. I agree with you 100%. It makes no sense. How can a phone focus in dark situations when it can't see what it is focusing on. I honestly can't even begin to understand how these companies haven't figured this out yet.
