Palm Pixi (Rooting/Jail-Breaking) ???

Hey Everyone,

Quick question;

The internet is full of websites devoted to the Android Platform, as well as how to exploit it. However, none compare to AndroidCentral.

Any idea of an awesome site, equal to AndroidCentral in caliber, for all things rooting/jail-breaking the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi?

There are quite a bit of websites out there, but just wondering which is the best?!?!?!

You could also check the HP Palm web/OS link at the top. Not certain if they do Pixi specifically but I know there used to be a "Treo Central" back in the day when I had mine.

Yep. The above are where you should look. The palm-pixi one is where i learned how to mess with my wife's pixi. Overclocking them a bit makes a big difference in the lag on those phones. Also gives you access to a whole new market of apps and tweaks.

Yeah man, XDA would probably be the best bet for the Pixi, a friend of mine has it, and there are quite a few hacks for it. We argue all the time about Android vs Palm. He says android is too buggy, I say Palm doesn't let you do all the things android will let you do lol...Am I right though? I love Android!

Ok...I will check out the links. BTW, when it comes to PalmPre or Palm Pixi phones...what is the proper terminology for 'Rooting'...is it-

- Rooting

- Jail-Breaking

- HomeBrew
