I have 6 Taylor Swift CDs and I just got 3 more and when I put them on my phone it says "Music playback error. Couldn't play the track you requested". Why does it do that? I have it on my SD card and when I plug my phone into my computer it will show up and play on my computer and not my phone. It is only my new 3 CDs. The other 6 are on there are play perfectly. How do I fix this?

Here is a photo of what is happening:

The CDs that won't play are:
-Speak Now Target Exclusive Disc 2
    -Beautiful Eyes
    -The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection

    Thank you!!!

Welcome to Android Central! We can't see that image, because the link is for your own hard drive. You need to either attach the photo to your post (http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...d-central.html), or upload the photo to some place like imgur or Google Photos, then share the link.

How did you rip the CD's? What file format are the music files--MP3, AAC, WMA?

MP3, I believe. I used Windows Media Player

Instead of using Windows Media Player to sync the music (which can be unreliable), try using Windows Explorer to simply drag and drop the music files to the phone. Take that opportunity to double check the music file format.

Test out one of the MP3 files after moving it to Internal Storage (not the microSD card).

What directory on the microSD card are the files in? What version of Android is the phone running? If it's KitKat, you might be running into an SD card restriction: KitKat and SD cards — what's fixed, what's broken and what's misunderstood | Android Central

Can you confirm that you ripped the tracks as mp3, and not as wma? From what you said before, it sounds like you weren't quite sure.

Great! It's always better to re-rip the tracks into mp3, rather than convert wma to mp3. The conversion will further degrade the sound quality.
