How do I turn off my LG V20's request for PUK after I reboot EVERY SINGLE time (annoying af)?

[Android Central Question]

Phone: LG v20.
I want to turn OFF my phone's requesting of me to have to enter my PUK each & every time I reboot. It's gotten totally annoying.
The SIM card lock was accidentally turned on by my 1-yr old granddaughter's little fingers by reaching over and just touching the "SET UP SIM CARD LOCK" 1 time (yeah...I said 1....that's insane).
So now I'm afraid to tap that ever again....so how do I turn that annoying thing OFF??
