I expect a slow down now with newer models out (V30, G7 ThinQ).

Wouldn't bother me any. Judging by past experiences, any OTA update is a crap shoot that it won't screw up something (either as a bug or unwanted design change).

I guess VZW was listening. Got my update this morning

I cleared the system cache from recovery after installation of CA however my battery standby life has turned to garbage. Crazy for a security update. I'm suddenly burning through about 4-5 percent an hour with phone screen off idle in my belt pouch. No new apps nor app updates so it is the new patch.
