Nice. The MVNO deals are really getting awesome. I just "sidegraded" from $19/month 5 GB to $15/mo 10 GB 5G. Same provider has "unlimited" (up to 35 GB before throttling) for $23/month.

I still ripped out a lot of bloatware on the S24+. Note: use at your own risk- this worked flawlessly for me on unlocked S23+ OneUI 5.1/6.0 and S24+ OneUI 6.1

At Last FINALLY. I got an email from my carrier that my phone will be shipped tonight and will be with me tomorrow. I've been waiting so long now. They said it would be coming by the 9th Feb but I just checked samsung.com and the date changed to tomorrow. And then just now I got an email to say it's being dispatched now and will be here tomorrow. FINALLY!!!

I'd recommend avoiding pre-orders. It's best to wait till others have used the phone, and see if there are problems, before getting one of your own (remeber the Galaxy Note 7 quagmire?).

Becides, if the phone you have is working just fine: What's the rush to replace it? And if you are in a rush to replace your phone: You probably don't have time for a pre-orderd replacement phone.

The note 7 was a disaster not 1 time, but a second time with the replacements. This is not the normal. I was involved in that note 7 deal and it sucked because those of us that were involved knew how much that phone improved from the previous model.. It was probably the most improved phone from the previous model ever and we haven't seen a upgrade to that caliber since IMO. With that said, those of us that were involved in that did ok. Samsung let us all keep our free accessories, we were able to get more free accessories on the second one and we were able to keep those also. We also got credits on our cell bills and we were able to choose another phone (which kind of sucked as going back to the previous model was a big downgrade). If I remember I think I walked away with around $500 in accessories and credits.

Most of the time the pre-order is the best time to do it. There is usually more promos. Yes you can get the higher trade in amounts and double memory offers later, but you don't usually get them combined with $150 promo credits.

This is the third Samsung phone I've preordered, and all three times there were no issues. No issues with the ordering process nor with the device. My first was the S8+, second was S22 Ultra, and now the S24 Ultra. You can wait six months and buy it, and there will still be "issues." Waiting won't necessarily get a better bargain. You also have to define, "rush." I didn't pre-order my S24 Ultra because I was in a "rush." I pre-ordered only after I read reviews and played around with a demo unit. As far as being in a "rush";, Samsung said that phone wouldn't be delivered until Feb 14, which was perfectly fine. The fact that I received it less than a week after I ordered it is icing on the cake.

I decided to go back to Titanium Black. My S22 Ultra was their "red" color, I debated about all the colors for a while, but since I keep mine cased, I went with one of the two fastest, since late February is better than mid-March, at least to me.

I can't say that I'm quite into that, but the info is pretty cool. I use my phone in lieu of a desktop or laptop, but with the upgraded storage, I'm not even pushing anywhere near the max capacity.

So my second violet came on release day, and now one gray has a label so probably Tues/Wed depending when it's picked up - that one has been saying 2/14 so that's cool. Fourth/final (also gray) still says 2/21 and has a cancel button.

Not ideal, but I'm aware I still got pre-order perks like the upgraded memory for the same price and discounted extras (allowing me to finally try a galaxy watch, upgrade ancient buds, and get a couple cases).
