When i try to run adb shell, I get "Error: Device not found." I've used adb before, but this time i'm getting bootloop on my phone and another thread redirected me here. How much trouble am I in?

Thanks a lot, I didn't even notice that when i skimmed over the list of threads.

My phone has been completely bricked. Stuck in bootloop, it turns on and flashes the LG logo (only when plugged in) and shuts off, and then flashes the LG logo and keeps doing this. My phone was rooted, running Quattrimus CM9, and had CWM recovery. Here's the story. I was at a friend's house...

Yeah, I considered IHO, that looks pretty nice. And i really hope a port of ICS gets out there soon...it looks surreal.

I'm fairly new to the world of ROMs- I only rooted my phone 4 days ago. I've been running a version of CM7 that was adapted for the Optimus V, but I'd like to see if there's anything more interesting. So, what is everyone's favorite rom, and why should i try it? Thanks in advance.
