    4.2.2 and battery life

That's a myth on iOS. Anyways, I got the 4.2.2 update about three hours after I first booted up my N4. Battery life has exceeded my expectations - coming from the iPhone 4S, this is an improvement. Even in areas with low signal, the N4 seems to keep going. It's great.

What carrier are you using with your Nexus 4? (US)

I have my Solavei SIM card waiting for my Nexus 4 to get here. I'll report back how it is working for me, but it seemed like a great deal. The referral program seems... out of the ordinary, but beyond that it passes the smell test with flying colors.

Nexus 4 crashes Android File Transfer everytime I open it.

The problem is not specific to the Nexus 4. I had the exact same issues with my old Galaxy Nexus. The Android File Transfer application makes iTunes on Windows look like coding heaven. It's that bad. It will crash, it will freeze, it will mess up, but if you want to use the Nexus with the Mac...

    Current Nexus 4 Shipping Times

I also ordered a 16 GB model yesterday, and I got the shipping confirmation at about 3 am Central Time this morning. Seems as if Google really has (most) orders shipping out almost immediately now! I was given the whole "1-2 weeks until shipment" as well, but that's obviously not necessarily...

    must have apps??

I disagree. Being smart about what you download, and where you visit, is the best defense - as it is for every platform available now. Anyways, Pocket and Flipboard are both must haves, in my opinion.

    Did JB Upgrade the camera?

I agree - the app itself has been improved dramatically. Quality seems to be on par with what 4.0.4 brought, which is in itself much better than what it had out of the box.

On my 6th GNEX ...has anyone ever got one that's a Phone?

Bought mine launch day, and I haven't had any issues at all... Bought another a few weeks ago, still no issues on that. Is this a vocal minority, or am I (and people lucky enough to get a device without issues) the exception to the rule?

An Apple user's impressions of the Nexus 7 & Jelly Bean

An Apple user comes on here and provides some honest thoughts on an issue that I to have noticed and have been annoyed with, and you troll them? OP: Thank you! I read all of your post, and it made some great points. I agree wholeheartedly about the rotation, and I agree that you shouldn't have...

Yo, Devs: Can we get a Dark Sky app for Android?

I've been in contact with the developers for the Dark Sky weather app, which is probably an app that predicts when it's going to rain. Shocking, right? Well, it actually works crazy well. Like, down to the minute for your exact location precipitation forecasts. I've played with it on a friend's...

Nexus this, Nexus that. Google using the name too much

Nexus is Google's hardware line for Android-powered devices that they either make themselves, or that they source out to other companies and then rebrand. I don't think they use it to much - does Apple use the word "Mac" to much?

    Nexus vs Droid Razr (Unbiased)

Compared to the service my Droid X got, the Galaxy Nexus I'm holding is easily better. As for build quality, parts are literally falling off of my Droid X after less than a year of fairly normal usage. If you like your Razr, that's great. Really - it's a great phone. But your posts seem to be...

    Nexus vs Droid Razr (Unbiased)

As great as some of these answers are, you aren't going to get the "experience" until you simply go to a store and hold them both and play with them. Doing that very same action, I ended up with the Nexus, easily. But your needs could be different, and you could end up with the Razr. Neither is...

Google said GN will get Jelly Bean, do they mean the VZW GN?

Officially? Of course. Unofficially? Of course. One will simply be a much shorter wait than the other. In fact, I'm betting it's only a matter of hours until we get it unofficially through the collective brilliance of the mod community.

    Jellybean expectations?

Chrome comes out of "beta," becomes the default Android browser (probably included in gApps because of proprietary code, maybe?) Slight UI refinements and enhancements (such as the Search bar) Better tablet performance/ tweaks to make it a better experience, Majel(?), hopefully, though I can...

    Double Twist on rooted Gnex

I tried that, multiple times. From my experience, it was only a (very) temporary solution: within two to three minutes, the music was inexplicably missing again.
