Nexus 7 vs Toshiba Thrive 10.1

If you really feel the need for a 10" screen, then I would look at the nexus 10. Pre orders started today. Otherwise I find the 7" to be a great size. It is good for personal use and the size and form factor makes it easy to carry around. Nexus devices should get all the love first when updates...

On the edge for the 32gb

I use my N7 over my laptop for web browsing. Easy to hold and move about with. Larger screen than S3 but not clunky like a 10" tablet. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Android Central Forums

    I'm Depressed!

If you buy from Walmart, warranty for 2 years is only $28. It says accidentals are covered. Cheapest warranty I've been offed so far. You can see their details on their website. Just look for the N7 and additional purchased and you'll see warranty info. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Android...

Local stores with good/best return or exchange policies

Costco is pretty darn good. Sad thing is that they currently don't have the N7. Sam's Club carries them though, but that's probably because they sell them at Walmart too.

    Have you Rooted,if not Why?

If you enjoy stock, then by all means, go ahead, many people do. However I like to have full control as well as tinkering with the device, installing custom ROMs and kernels, which can make the device even better than it is from the factory. Not to mention if you do get any devices full of...

    About to buy Nexus 7

The 7" form factor makes an excellent personal device. It's easy to carry and hold. 10" starts to get on the larger side thus being heavier and harder to carry around. I love my N7. It makes a great all around device. Work, play, entertainment.

    Have you Rooted,if not Why?

lol, people on another certain forum board would be all over you if you said that, BUT I do have to agree, if you are not familiar with the process and wary of doing it on your own, those toolkits do it with the push of a button. You just need to be able to read and comprehend what you are...
