I just scraped quite a bit of dirt out of the left mic opening using a pin and recorded a test video, it worked! I can hear the audio clearly now from the left. I'd have never considered the mic being clogged being the cause of the problem, thanks so much!

Hey thanks for replying I just tried checking in safe mode and the same thing happens. Also, after a few more tests I noticed from the left earbud I can actually hear some audio but it's just extremely quiet compared to the right earbud, i have to turn the volume high to hear any of it
