tried the latest build however still having issues when i turn on sms, the app constantly crashes.

that sounds like the auto backup/upload feature in google+ go to google+ -> settings ->auto backup -> off

tried uninstalling and reinstalling updates. still keeps crashing. hangouts seems to crash as soon as i enable sms. and each time i try to start a new hangout it crashes. decided to uninstall updates until next round of updates. hopefully then both g+ and hangouts will stop crashing

i actually dont recall. i read it here somewhere but can't find the threat. i basically rooted my phone, then used SU and SManager and did something so the external acts as the internal and vice versa.
