I ended up going with lockmenu pro. Not exactly what I needed, but I like that I can direct dial from my lock screen with a slider. The ability to launch apps and message direct is nice, and actually an improvement over just direct dialing from a long press of a button.

The main thing I miss from my Palm Pre is the ability to long press a button and speed dial a contact from any screen. I don't like having to unlock the phone, then go into the phone app, then press the button. Does anyone know of an app or mod that will allow you to instantly dial a contact...

I have had much better battery life with Bonsai, but ACS is a little faster.

Very nice, full day and I'm still at 60%. Rom is nice and quick. Once we get the SSL issue fixed I'll be loving it.

The Samsung dock app has burned in the battery full warning into my screen. I will be heading for a replacement. fyi, it is not only possible, it happened to me!

The Pre is a decent phone. It's too bad about the hardware, but the OS is really great. If they would have come out with it a year or two sooner, I think Palm would have survived on its own. It will be interesting to see how it develops with HP as the owner. That said, Android and the Epic...
