You can use accubattery to give you an idea on battery health. I've tried a number of 3rd party brand batteries and they ALL are lower quality and run time than the LG Oem batteries. The only place where you can get true Oem batteries is from LG. There are alot of fakes that look almost exactly like Oem, but I won't waste any more $$ on them.

I got the Sim out, that really wasn't a problem, it was near the edge. Unfortunately, the broken piece of the tray doesn't seem to want to come out. Ugh!!!

Almost certainly is it a bootloop failure. It is possible LG will fix it depending on how old the device is. Go to lgmobilerepair.com and see if it is still covered under warranty. They extended the original 1 year warranty.

Ever since my last post I've have been getting some really lousy battery life. Not sure if it's a random app or what. Coincidentally or not, there was a system update about 2 weeks ago, at least on Verizon. BTW, the G6 is an excellent phone, I own that one too.

Have you tried another charger and cable? I've had similar issues a few years ago with screen problems while charging, turned out to be the charger.
