So I have been using the g4 for the last 2 years(2 bootloops, promptly repaired). I've recently purchased the g5 and the g6 with the recent best buy deals, but I keep going back to the g4. Can't pinpoint one thing, and I know the others have better features, but can't seem to figure out what it is with this phone. What's wrong with me?

Neither! You want a reliable phone, which LG don't make. Go for Samsung or HTC.

What a pessimist! I have the G6 and it's awesome.
Pessimist? Erm, not when I had 4 G4s that all either had boot loop, or powered off and just wouldn't turn back on, or wouldn't stay on unless I kept it plugged into a charger. I'd say that's a bad experience with LG so is it any surprise I suggest people stay away from them?!

Yes pessimist.

I've had
G2 great
G3 great
G4 X3 due to issues
G5 poor signal
And now the G6 which is fantastic so far

You've had bad experiences with LG, I get it because you post it on a lot of threads. The op didn't ask about Samsung phones or any other for that matter. On the contrary, they were expressing their like for the G4...

Regardless you'll go on hating LG and posting as such on everyone's threads. In the meantime those of us that like our LG phones will continue to do so.

I've had a Nexus 5, Realm (rooted), Volt, Optimus Exceed X 2, Tribute 2 X 2, Tribute HD (currently have) and G4 (currently have). Only the Realm boot looped after I did a factory reset. I'm taking a chance with the G4, but I got it cheap.

I like the double tap to wake/sleep, knock code and some of the other LG touches. The G4 has a great camera that takes excellent pics, and a bunch of other features that I like (LED notification light, replaceable battery, microSD slot, beautiful display, wireless capability).

I'm still liking my G4. Replaceable battery, big screen, great camera, wireless charging, back buttons. I'm looking to replace but haven't seen anything I like yet.

I probably would have retired the G4 and moved on to G6 after 2 bootloops, but you should use whatever phone you prefer. I have the Nexus 6P and OnePlus 3T but I'll still use the Nexus 6 and 5x for different reasons.
