Hopefully T-Mobile will make their Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE easier to implement on non T-Mobile phones at some point. I'm eying the Moto X Pure for myself...hopefully it will be supported similar to the Nexus 6 is with T-Mobile.

That is unfortunate. I was thinking of buying one for my daughter who is a college student in New York City. Lack of Band 12 probably won't make a difference right now, but it makes me hesitant to buy a phone that is not quite as "future proof" as was originally thought to be.
