Hey guys...I have a S8+ with the same issue...here's the fix. Go to apps, your google app, then uninstall updates (hit the 3 little dots in the upper right menu to select)...that did it for me. I read in some other forums hey had to do this everyday... as of of now its working for me. It sucks...
