Try using swiftkey beta. Seems to be less laggier than the non beta

I notice it when texting mostly. If you text using an iphone a few times and immediately text using android devices you can definitely tell the difference. However it's in like milliseconds so I'm sure it won't bother most users unless you are like me and notice every slight lag.

when you say narrower, you mean because of the curved edges? does it bother you at all? specifically while watching videos? I have note 5 and there's dust inside the camera so the pictures come out very 'foggy', and home button is peeling off to the point it doesn't feel like a premium device...

How bad is the lag when you text? I've noticed on mine too on the stock keyboard. It's in milliseconds but it's still very noticeable. I tested it on the iPhones and typing felt very snappy. No lag at all. There's definitely a difference between stock samsung keyboard and stock iPhone keyboards...
