Isn't this so called "lag problem" an easy fix?

Hello all. I'm herring people complain about lag on Samsung phones/ android phones in general. I don't see any myself. I'm curious though, for years Android has added more and more animations to the software. Is this the lag that people are seeing? I've always turned down or off the animations on my phone via developer options, and thus received buttery smooth software. Again I'm asking whether or not that this is the lag people are talking about? If so..... Easy fix. If not, please enlighten me.

I notice it when texting mostly. If you text using an iphone a few times and immediately text using android devices you can definitely tell the difference. However it's in like milliseconds so I'm sure it won't bother most users unless you are like me and notice every slight lag.
