Yes I used to be rooted and the update zip is in top level of external sd card as it says in the instructions.

The error read like this. E:Error in/Tmp/sideload/package.zip (status 7) Installation aborted.

So I went to the thread (you way to update to mb1) to see if it will fix my build but when I tried installing zip I get an error message and it aborts. What could be the cause of this.

So I can use the update even if build is not mb1 but baseband is. Also I'm on 4.1.1. Does that affect the update.

Does anyone know if the official md4 update zip will work on my phone. It has mb1(baseband) and LJ7 (build). I really want to update it already and the ota update I keep getting leaves my phone the same.

Re: UnRoot and Return to stock Hi sorry for the bother but on the link to update to mb1. Do i need all three zip files or just this (MB1 Firmware/Baseband/Modem zip). Im sort of a noob at this but i guess its cause im used to my captivate from att. So thank you very much for all and any help...

Re: UnRoot and Return to stock I understand post #2 but since my phone is not fully rooted as I mean saying that superuser does not gain root access and neither do any apps that require root access. For this reason I just want to update and remove cwm and return to stock. But will mb1 work on...

Re: UnRoot and Return to stock I need some help. When i double click pda and then double click the tar file i get a message saying the parameter is incorrect. How or what do i do. I need to remove clockwork so i can update ota.
