I recently bought a USB OTG cable from a mobile phone store in the local mall. At first I thought it was faulty, my phone refused to detect any device plugged into it, and its doubtful it detected the cable at all. I tried it on my mates Nexus, and it worked perfectly, it also works flawlessly...

Its probably the stagefright patch as mentioned already. Most annoyingly my carrier confirmed they have received the patch from Google, but are still "assessing" it, and have no plans to push it out in the near future.

I contacted my carrier with the same question. They told me its being rolled out in stages, and that I would eventually get it, they just couldn't say when. I got it two weeks after asking about it.

Price. Simples.

TescoMobile (Using O2's network), 5.1.1 got rolled out this evening around 5pm for me. Can't say I notice a lot of difference from 5.0.2.

Ahh, the old "torch" / "flashlight" argument. In the UK (and also a large chunk of europe), its "torch". In the Americas (USA, Canada, etc) its "flashlight". Both are right, and both are wrong. The "torch" isn't on fire, and the "flashlight" doesn't flash. The whole torch/flashlight thing is...

Still 5.0.2 on TescoMobile, which is a VMNO using O2's network. Which is quite annoying as its absolutely stock, with nothing carrier specific.

Re: Will the Samsung Gaaxy S6's lag PERMANENTLY if i use the Google or Nova launcher I use Nova Launcher, and love it. I find it 10x better than the default Touchwiz, and have not noticed any lag at all.

Re: Dow swifkey slow down your s6? Its my understanding that the 'Samsung Keyboard' that is installed as default, IS a Samsung licensed version of Swiftkey anyway, so I very much doubt it.
