So I have an EVO 3D from day 1 and want to get an EVO 4G LTE (hopefully from day 1). Obviously, I'm on a two year contract and not elegible for an upgrade discount for another year or so. Does anyone has any suggestions on making myself elegible for the full discount besides having to wait...

2:28 from pressing OK (in the reboot popup) until the lock screen showed up. About 4:05 until all the icons worked (instead of the generic android icon). Fast Boot checked. And just found out, that if I'm looking at the phone while it reboots, it feels like a lifetime!!!:p

The GPS seems way more accurate. Now it shows that I'm in my house when before the update it showed that I was on my driveway. (And yes both times I was inside of the house:p)

Check Fast Burst Camera or SpeedShutter. I tried both of them (the free versions) and both are ok. The problem with both apps is that they work better when taking lower resolution pics. Hopefully this helps.

It's a rolling update so some people might not be receiving it yet. Just wait a little longer. It will eventually show up.

I think someone needs to do some e-mail reading!:p

Re: update is available From the phone: Go to settings, system updates, htc software update, and press on check now. It should show up. If it doesn't try later or like some people claim that if you do a battery pull and try again, it shows up. Good luck.

I think Teeter is new in the hub. I don't think it was there before. I use to play with it a lot on the Evo 4G. Check the apps on the HTC Hub.

Re: update is available Downloaded and installed. A couple of things I noticed so far: 1) It did not fix the missing icon on the lock screen. Actually, it kinda did. When it restarts, the left most icon is not there but if you unlock the phone, then lock it again and then unlock, like magic...

Try WeatherBug. It's free. I has notifications and you can select a different ringtone than the one you use for email or sms.. Not shure if the Weather Channel app has notifications as well. Hope this helps.
