I updated to JB (4.1.2) a couple weeks ago and it seemed to fix my problem.

I do not have go launcher. The phone froze up while sitting on my desk, so it does not have to be in my pocket.

The phone auto-deletes them when new txt's come in. Auto-delete is enabled by default, without it then I bet this stupid phone would crash with 1,000 txts in it. My old Continuum with Android 2, if there was 200 txts in it then it would not receive any new msgs. And auto-delete would not always...

My Galaxy SII also resets all the ring tones in my contacts to Default at least once a month. I do not have a SIM. Android 4 is very unreliable compared to my old Continuum with Android 2.2

How come they no longer allow people to lock txt msgs from being auto-deleted in Android 4? My old Continuum with Android 2.2 allowed me to lock text messages. This seems to be a downgrade rather than an upgrade.

Sometimes the phone does not reconnect to the networks. I notice when I move outside of the range and move back in 5 minutes later, then I attempt to browes the internet then the phone will say not connected to the internet. I then have to manually disable WiFi and enable it for it to reconnect...

Did you check Applications > Settings > Wifi > click on the menu button > Advanced > Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep? but I don't know what "sleep" is.

My phone updated fine last week, and again today, weird that it updated again. It would be cool if they could fix the Daylight Savings Time bug in Calendar. Google Calendar shows a time and the phone shows 1 hour earlier.
