In the security tab of my google account/devices-my ip is showing as 30mins away from my home address on my phone. Even when travelling for work 1.5hrs away, the ip doesn’t change. Can anyone explain this? Thankyou

Looking under Security tab of my google account/devices. It shows android ‘session’ from my phone which is fine. However, it says my phone was last used 2 days ago. I have in fact been using my phone over the last 2 days so why isn’t the ‘time’ updating on this session? It used to show more...

Just noticed the icon for Samsung messages app has changed. It used to be the blue one, now it’s appearing as the orange one. What is the difference?? Has anyone else had this change??

Have been testing out this feature and want to know if you can stop notifications from alerting potential thief that the phone is being located. Kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion. I’ve turned off notifications it they’re still popping up??

Hi, thx however not using VPN. Seems to ‘lose signal’ half way through the day and doesn’t know when I get home. For eg today I got home at 4.15pm and timeline shows I’m still at work one hour away. I can guarantee when I look again tomorrow morning, it will show I’ve been at work all night.

Would that make the GPS on my phone think it was where I was earlier that day?

Why is my timeline showing that I’ve gone back to the place I was at earlier in today when I was in bed asleep?? I got home at 3pm however this shows I got home at 1.15am!!? This has been happening for a few days now. Why is this happening and how do I fix this pls??

I’m having issues with Samsung S20 lagging in my google timeline by a few hours. For eg, I left work at 3pm and have been home for 2hrs. Just checked my timeline and it shows I’m still at work. It’s been very slow to update location accuracy for a few days. Any settings I should change??
