    LG G4 H815 update

Yeah, the WiFi scanning did indeed turn back on after the update. I always turn that feature off. Thanks.

    LG G4 H815 update

I'm hoping they didn't break the wake locks. I charged my G4 last night with WiFi turned off. When I looked at battery usage after the few hours the phone has been on battery, WiFi is towards the top of the list - WiFi s not on. What gives here? Also Google Services is being a battery hog. As...

    LG G4 H815 update

Just got the update. I'm on AT&T with my H815. One thing I immediately noticed was an increase in the responsiveness of the double tap to wake the G4. Now I barely have to touch the screen upon double tap. Before the update, the double tap to wake didn't work 100% of the time. Now it's awesome.

    Global unlocked G4 (LG-H815) users....

I bought the H815 from Tropical_Mobile on eBay. There is indeed a functional FM chip. The H815 includes an FM radio app, so I didn't try NextRadio. The included FM app is not bad at all. RDS is functional as well. It only took 30 hours for mr to receive my phone from Singapore to Harrisburg...

Anyone else notice a lower signal when using a case on the LG G3?

A co-worker of mine also thinks that cases are bending the frame of the phone enough to be causing the issue. Since the LG G3 is made out of pkastic, it doesn't take much to bend it. I will also try the microwave test that you suggested. I can't imagine that the clear silicone case would be...

Anyone else notice a lower signal when using a case on the LG G3?

I really wanted to put a case on my LG G3 since the screen can easily shatter If dropped. I noticed that my LTE signal was lower when using the first case that I purchased. The case was just a black TPU slim skin. I thought that possibly the case contained metal, so I purchased another TPU slim...

Note 4 Hearing Aid Mode Stops Running After Device Restart

The "Tic" box is under Settings>Accessability>Hearing>Hearing Aid. It makes the earpiece volume permanently louder during calls. The "Extra Volume" function on the call screen has to turned on for every single call. Before the Lollipop update the "Hearing Aid" tic box that I referred to...

Note 4 Hearing Aid Mode Stops Running After Device Restart

I use y Note 4 in a noisy environment. The loudest volume on the Note 4 is not the greatest, and the Extra Volume cannot be permanently latched on. To get a loud call volume I have been using the hearing aid function. Before Lollipop it would stay on even after the device is restarted. Now...

Verizon LG G2 - Voice Quality Observation

I've got this issue as well with a Sprint LG G2. Your description of "clipping" is very accurate. It sounds like an amplifier that is clipping or the speaker is being over-driven. You just can't buy a phone anymore and have everything work out of the box. Consumers are the new "Beta...

Issues with static, crackles, pops, and squeals during calls

I am experiencing this crackling issue with my LG G2 on Sprint's network as well. It's not just Verizon.

Verizon Galaxy Note 3 signal and WIFI reception?

I ended up returning my Note 3 and donating $35 to that poor company "Verizon". I thought they could use the $35 better than I. Cha-Ching! I was at work today and couldn't get a 4G LTE signal to save my life. In certain parts of our building where other Verizon customers were getting 3G...

Verizon Galaxy Note 3 signal and WIFI reception?

I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from a local Verizon store. I am very disappointed with this phone. I paid full price to keep my unlimited data alive. I am finding that the RF reception is abysmal. In buildings where I used to get -89 dbm with my Motorola Droid Bionic, I get -118 dbm...
