Seems like you set the brightness at 100% and screen timeout to Never for 5h40min7s and used nothing with the phone and watched the phone draining the battery and now give give this "limited" information.

Go to settings, accounts, google, choose your account, check sync browser (or whatever the name of your htc one browser is) ( I don't have a htc one, on galaxy phones it's Internet, etc) (The setting is for turning on off sync other stuff too like google drive, plus, chrome)

That calendar app looks like its from play store, not preinstalled , the one preinstalled is yellow/green and for some reason it's not there in your screenshot? Also I didn't know nexus devices come with currents and keep too

stock syncs too, only bookmarks though, (no open tabs, password, autofill,...) btw i'm using naked browser, lightweight, like stock but faster, support flash

Did a factory reset and still not animating . Turns out I think it was because of the new google play services that was updated 2 days ago may be the cause (I think). Made me wasted time factory reset reinstall apps ,... for nothing . Frustrated

When I tap on a gif file in the google plus app i see the image not animating . I deleted some system apps in system/apps. Not sure of that's the cause

You don't even explain how it works on Play store Description. So how exactly does it work Without reducing brightness, CPU power, turning off wifi,.... I don't get what "makes the cpu skip unnecessary calculations" means
