Thanks for the reply. Yes I did try a manual sync. I'm wondering if I delete the Yahoo Mail app, sync contacts, then re-add the app and re-add the offending account making sure not to check the Contact sync option, if that would do the trick. Anyway it's so frustrating and I hope one of these...
