Would love to have one of these for my Photon. My battery doesn't last a day and I am back and forth between offices so I never have time to actually charge it! Pick me please!
I have restarted my phone multiple times and it still hasn't worked. I am just hoping I don't have to reinstall everything again by wiping the device. I can't get anything to work on installing right now and it has been a few days of this.
So I have had my Photon since launch and have not had any issues with this until last Friday. I first noticed the issue with the Amazon App Store just hanging when I install apps from there. Now I am having issues with the Android Marketplace no longer installing apps.
I do have my WiFi...
Would love to have this. I think this would seal the deal in me dumping BlackBerry completely and solely using my Motorola Photon and the Galaxy Tab. Pick me please!
I would love to have this!! I am slowly weening myself off BlackBerry and carry a Motorola Photon to help speed up that process. This would be a great compliment to help me move over faster! Pick me please!!
Mcp6530 is right. Plus having it constantly search and try to connect to wifi will drain it. I haven't noticed much change in my battery life and know it hasn't become any worse.
For the WiFi issue where it keeps disconnecting I had this same problem. I found a fix for it though that works well now.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Wireless & Networks
3. Wi-Fi Settings
4. Press the Menu Button and select Advanced
5. Select Wi-Fi Sleep Policy and change it to Never.
This should...
So the only issue I have noticed so far that I didn't have before rooting is my WIFI connection keeps dropping and takes forever to reconnect. Is anyone else having this issue?
I got it figured out. Someone actually posted a video on Youtube that helped me out. I was making some stupid mistakes!

I keep getting an error when I type in adb shell. Is it possible for someone to PM me with some more detailed instructions on how to root this thing. I rooted my EVO and had no issues but I am still new with the Android world. Thanks!
The funny thing is, I have a Blackberry Bold and an HTC Evo and the Evo is showing the time off by about 6 minutes where I am. It has been like this all morning from what I have noticed.
I was having issues with this the other day with the latest update they did. For some reason it would not download but I tried it again later and it worked fine. Try installing today and it should work okay now.
