For those who are let down...

Just like benchmarking a video card for a computer, you cannot compare the two unless they are setup with the same environmental variables. This is like saying a 5 year video card is better than a modern one because it can play Half Life at 140FPS on an 800x600 resolution, while the new one...

For those who are let down...

If you ran those chips with a screen that was the same resolution as the Moto X, they would rape this phone.

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

The point is, if other OEMs can afford to release a higher quality device at a much lower price point, it adds to the mountain of evidence that Motorola is outpricing itself with such plebeian hardware.

I will agree with you on that front - carrier exclusives SUCK. However, the OGP can be bought outright and used on the T-Mobile network. On the price artgument - we have become so conditioned by these overinflated prices that we think it's acceptable for a phone to cost 600+ dollars...

so what is everyone's main complaints of the phone?

Re: so what is everyones main complaints of tge phobe? Get something straight before you finish drinking all the kool-aid: the final assembly point for the Moto x is in the US, that's it. The parts are all still manufactured overseas by the same little Chinese hands as everyone else...

so what is everyone's main complaints of the phone?

Re: so what is everyones main complaints of tge phobe? Price and availability. The Optimus G pro has nearly the same internal specs as the Galaxy S4 and HTC One (1.7ghz Snapdragon 600, 2gb Ram, 32gb storage, 5.5 inch display, 13MP rear-facing camera and 2.1MP front camera, 3140mah battery...

(the bad) $199 on contract, $575 off contract, locked bootloader, customizing/32gb AT&T only, bloat

Re: $199 on contract, customizing *and* 32gb is AT&T only What's terrible about the Moto X price is that you can get MUCH better options for less money. The Optimus G pro has nearly the same specs as the Galaxy S4 and HTC One (1.7ghz Snapdragon 600, 2gb Ram, 32gb storage, 5.5 inch display...

For instance, take the LG Optimus G Pro. You get - 1.7ghz Snapdragon 600 processor - 2gb Ram, 32gb storage, 5.5 inch display - 13MP rear-facing camera and 2.1MP front camera - 3140mah battery, wireless charging - IR Remote Control - SD-Card slot. These are better specs than the HTC One...

Arg - LG Phones are not compatible with Square credit card readers

So, I volunteer at a private organization and just found out one big bummer with the Optimus G pro - the Square credit card reader does not work with this phone! It turns out that almost all LG phones are not - I wonder why they are not using a traditional headphone jack setup compared to...

Loved The G Pro, But Returned It After 3 Days (This Is A long Post)

Meh - I could never go back to an iPhone. Every time I use one now, I can't help but think about how much of a joke the GUI is - it almost feels like a device made for children. I don't know how you view files on a mac, but I would have just connected my SD card directly to my computer's...
