Hey, I'll trade you my K1 for your Nexus 9 ;)

Received the K1 for Christmas! Couple of questions about issues...

Well, after two factory resets, the headphone issue seems to have gone away... for now. I'll keep listening to make sure it doesn't come back. WiFi seems flaky, but that seems to be a software issue. Wonder how long it will take nVidia to get the updated .01 release out to the tablets, if ever...

Received the K1 for Christmas! Couple of questions about issues...

Howdy! So I rec'ed a K1 for Christmas from my in-laws. I like the size better than my '13 Nexus 7, but I do have a few questions about some issues I've noticed. First, when I plug in headphones there is a popping noise occasionally when I listen to music. I do not hear the popping noises when...

    6.0 Marshmallow: T-Mobile?

Re: What us TMO? I'm usually right there with you, but that's the kicker. For some people the update is showing up in the Play Store, and for some people it isn't. It happened to me, even after several restarts. Blame the trollout if you will, but since they are the same package I would have...

6.0 Marshmallow: Is adoptable storage being reported correctly?

I'm one of those who have gotten bitten by SD cards. So I use my SD card as "a backup" rather than "the backup". Everything I have on my phone is backed up, usually automatically, somewhere else.

6.0 Marshmallow: SD card storage does not show up when connected to laptop via USB?

Re: SD card memory does not show up when connected to laptop via USB Thank you! That helps clear up a lot for me, actually. It is also interesting to see that the phone will use the internal storage before the SD card. This is a good thing, actually, as I thought I had read somewhere that it...

6.0 Marshmallow: Contacts are not being recognized in calls log and incoming calls

Re: Contacts are not being recognized in calls log and incoming calls, after upgrading to Marshmallo I've had this bug ever since I updated to 6.0, but I did something different that seems to help things. I was over at XDA and found a flashable zip over there that has the Nexus phone dialer and...

6.0 Marshmallow: Is adoptable storage being reported correctly?

After reading and commenting on two different posts, I thought I would make a post to see if anyone else is having any issues with adoptable storage being reported correctly, or if anyone else is having any issues. This is mainly to collect and consolidate some data points. I may not be able to...

6.0 Marshmallow: SD card storage does not show up when connected to laptop via USB?

Re: SD card memory does not show up when connected to laptop via USB Interesting. Another user is having the opposite problem as you after he formatted as adoptable storage: he only sees the SD card and not the internal card. The only thing that I can see that both of you have in common is the...

6.0 Marshmallow: Internal memory storage does not show up when connected to laptop via USB?

Re: Why don't I see my internal storage on my Moto X Pure Edition when I connect to a PC via USB? Thank you. Another question, if you have a moment. When you plug in your phone to the computer, what is the size of the SD card that Windows sees? If you formatted the card as adoptable, or...

    Google Messenger

I've had this issue pop up several times after I updated to 6.0. Usually this happened after the phone had been on for a few days without a restart. When I restart the phone the names usually pop back up. I'd guess it is some sort of bug. I don't know if it did anything or not, but over on XDA...

6.0 Marshmallow: Hurting battery life of Bluetooth Low Energy devices?

Re: Marshmallow hurting battery life of BLE devices? Do you have the FitBit HR set up as a trusted device? Do you have ring notification turned on? I've also noticed that my Charge HR's battery has been going down pretty quick, but I have those things turned on. I'll turn them off and see what...

    6.0 Marshmallow: T-Mobile?

Re: What us TMO? This is a known thing. After you update to MM you MUST go into the Play Store and update Google Play Services. It should have an update button after you install the MM update. If it does not, you can sideload the APK by downloading the correct version from APK Mirror. You'll...

    6.0 Marshmallow: Root

Re: Root with Marshmallow There are two ways now, both on XDA... There's the traditional approach where you install TWRP and then install the root package, but there's also a systemless root package that is very BETA and may be buggy (also installed thru TWRP). Note that if you go one route you...
