Verizon Pixel XL - Where's the Bloatware!

Both the Pixels I got from the Verizon store had the 3 Verizon apps on them - which were easily deleted.

    Kind of regretting Pixel purchase.

It may, or it may not - I'd suggest using the phone until the end of the "trial" period and see where you are at then. If the lens flare is really bad, maybe the phone is bad, check with the dealer. In the end, if you are not happy, do what you gotta do to be happy. Too many choices to get...

Ok Pixel owners - the S8 is here. Who's jumping ship?

I am very happy with my Blue Pixel. Will look at the Pixel 2 when it arrives and get one if I like it, just to keep up with the latest. S8 is a Saturday night street walker in very high heels. Pixel is a 4x4 Chevrolet Silverado going through\over everything life throws in its way. Yep - that...

    Looking for new phone

If you check around, I think you'll find the Pixel XL is a very good phone, and should not disappoint you. No phone is "everything to everybody" so you have to decide if the "good things" on the XL are good enough for you and the "bad things" are not too bad for you. If you can get your hands...

Android O for the Pixel and Pixel XL.

Thanks for the idea - I tried side loading the last 7.1.1 factory image and adb read it OK - appears to be an issue with the "O" developer image. ETA - tried your idea - will not read "O" update but will read the latest factory image fine - ????? - I'm using the latest Windows Insider 10 build...

Android O for the Pixel and Pixel XL.

Can't get rid of rogue wallpaper on start screen

I did that for the blue pixel - I like to try different things - makes having phones more fun.

Can't get rid of rogue wallpaper on start screen

No tape involved. WAIT - did you mean tape over the camera lens - this would probably work - good idea.
