This my husband's account . He passed away last week . My issue is that is phone is locked . I tried a few patterns ,but no luck . Any idea on how to get the phone unlock without doing a factory reset . Thanks ! :-$

Well I do have 30 days to return the tablet so hopefully I'll get the update before then. I have seen other posts where people say the freezing is continuing even after 7.1.1 though...

I'm waiting for my Galaxy S2 9.7" "like new refurb" to show up in the next few days. Nexus 9 is just too frustrating to deal with lately.

Chromebooks are not tablets. I've already got one of them. Pixel C is way more money than I'm willing to spend for a two year old device.

I just ordered a Samsung Galaxy S2 9.7" on eBay for $259. Supposed to be like new. I would be happier with a Nexus device I think but this one got good reviews as well.

I don't agree with your comment about the tablet segment being over. I have a Nexus 6P that is definitely a BIG phone but there are many times I prefer using my tablet to using my phone.

The freezing issue is really getting irritating. I hope Google doesn't forget about this device.

Absolutely if the service fits your needs and is much less expensive in my opinion. I can use my Nexus on any other service if I decide to switch.

At this point I would never purchase a phone limited to one carrier. I switched to Project Fi a while back and have been extremely happy. Fi capability is only on Nexus or Pixel so that's the way I'm staying. Dropping a major carrier was as big decision for me but it works as I had hoped.
