I was hoping that I could get the update but guess it's a no go for me. I tried "restoring to stock" by following the instructions at XDA ( [ROM]Asus stock .28 for Unlocked devices - xda-developers )... All is working, but says no update is available. Maybe I missed something. The prime cannot...

Just received mine yesterday (1/4/12), and am loving it... No screen issues, WiFi signal strength is just as strong as my iPhone 4S and my MacBook Pro so far... I haven't had it drop WiFi yet or anything. GPS worked using Google Maps, and no I haven't tried all the ways people have listed...

Looking at possibly getting the Xoom 2 (XYboard), and I cannot find any information on whether Root has been achieved yet or not... There seems to be no development going on for this tab? Anyone know if this can be rooted the same was as the original Xoom? Or word on whether it has a locked...

I have the wifi 16 gb version and honestly have not had the sleep of death issue at all.. My only issue is that browser dim but now using Dolphin HD browser. Also my battery life has kinda sucked.. Even when not using my tab I have noticed a big percentage drop within a few hours.

Re: Does the 7.0 plus WIFI have a GPS chip.so I can use it for ma It does have Google Nav. I was using it the other day, but encountered an issue. Although it has GPS/ Turn-by-turn Navigation, it still required a data connection via Wifi in order to get the map to be visible/load correctly...

Have had mine for a few days and am loving it, especially now that I have Netflix working on it :-) Thanks to those who posted the Neflix fix!! Anyway yeah I had the 10.1 for a few days before having the 8.9 and definitely prefer the size of the 8.9... Other than the size, everything else feels...

I just got this phone for my bf on Friday and he loves it so far! No complaints at all from him. He came from the original Droid on Verizon which he had crappy battery, slow/unresponsive at times, etc. He's really loving the phone.
