They installed more than Uber, mostly At&t apps, but its nothing that can't be fixed with a little bit of unlocking and rooting. But for those who don't normally root their phone's, the fact that they instal apps over an OTA is bull****.

The same thing started happening to my M8 recently, and I didn't know why. I was also using mine on ART, I switched back to dalvik and I have no issues now. I had been running on ART for so long too, it only recently started doing that. Posted via Android Central App

I changed mine months ago and haven't looked back. I don't have any issues on it. I've read there are certain apps that don't run well or at all on ART just yet. But I haven't had any issues with any of the apps I use. Edit: Below is another thread which discusses the runtime differences...

Well it seems like the oems might have known about Android L ahead of time, or Android adopted some of the design from them, the system apps on HTC Sense and whatever LG's skin is, have the same clear status bar, with the colors of the apps showing through them. Sent from my HTC One_M8...

I too thought the inclusion of themes was great, but would also like more of a variety. I am also bothered by some of the inconsistencies within certain themes. For one the colors of the quick setting accents and volume status don't always match. Same goes for the lock screen pattern...

I completely agree, this reminds me of when the moto x came out with the $199.99 two year contract price, specs just aren't enough to warrant such a price tag. Not that specs are all that matter, the moto x is a great phone, but I feel it didn't sell as well initially because of moto maker...

Also make sure sleep mode is turned off. It is in the battery manager settings. When it's enabled it will turn off your data if you're not actively using the phone.

I have had these issues with the hangouts using sms since the day they started supporting sms, that was when I had my M7, and this issue is the same with my m8, which is why I only use the stock messaging app, and I have no issues. It is actually a hangouts issue, not the phone. Or maybe it is...

I actually agree with you on that. The led is my only complaint about the phone.
