If I search using the standard search bar, if I press the home button before collapsing the keyboard, it stays on top like in the picture! AR

Hello, Pixel 8, Android 14 I'm using the default keyboard, I do have nova installed, but unused.. transferred from my last phone. I have re-started, and reset the gboard cache, no joy. Personally I think it is a bug, and google wil get round to fixing one day. :)

Hello, Anyone know why the on-screen keyboard stays active after I return to the home screen? It is easy enough to get rid of, but it should auto disappear.. AR

I don't really like to advertise for others, but in the UK IDmobile have some cracking deals at the moment (via carphone warehouse) i.e. pixel 8 & pro buds & 100gig data for £21.99 per month (+£49 upfront) over 2 years... £577 total. If bought separately, you would be looking at over a grand! AR

I've been an android user for a while, and I've just changed from a Huawei to a pixel 8, and I'm a bit shocked at how un-customisable the UI Is! I will probably be asking loads of questions, and reading many replies ;) Hope you won't get too fed up of me..
