What would make this phone very compelling to me is if they do the same thing as the A9 and promise updates within 15 days.

Did the update improve battery life?

Part of it is probably being on tmobile. I switched to tmobile for a couple months and my battery life decreased significantly. Once I went back to at&t, it improved.
