Just used the app SoundHound to identify a song and figured out that this app listen to 'OK Hound' wich works perfectly with the inbuilt mic. I really wonder why Google won't work.

Yes. I turned it off and on again. Checked again Google account settings. I wonder if I miss an app. I compared the settings to my old Samsung phone and they are identical. Actually, Google voice typing was disabled on the other phone in language and input settings, even though it works anyway...

I think I can only delete cache app by app. I use oreo 8.1. A cache partition isn't there anymore. I know there are apps which are able to delete the cache. Somehow I don't trust those apps. Unless you suggest a particular one.

When I do set up the voice match without the headset plugged in, it waits forever. I just record an video with the camera app. Yes, sound is clear. To check the stereo channels I had to connect the headset. Booth channels are equal loud.
