Still nothing. I keep calling Google and Pioneer but getting the same BS "we're working on it". Considering that I spent close to $2K between the AVIC-8200 and Pixel phone, I would expect that it would work... Super irritating...

So what is the procedure to uninstall prior versions of this app?

I spoke to Google this morning and there is an issue with the Pioneer 7000 and 8000 units. Pioneer is supposedly working on a firmware update. I tried the reset before. It did not work.

Osho841 - Isn't that happening automatically? It looks like a bearings task on the Pixel. Also, how would this help this issue? Just curious as I have a similar issue with Avic-8200 and Pixel.

Did you get anywhere with this? I have the same issue with the 8200 and the Pixel phone. I tried with and without Avicsync, tried various cables, tried to launch Android Auto manually, etc but to no avail. I just switched from iPhone and Apple Car Play worked perfectly. Even more frustrating, I...

I have a Pioneer AVIC-8200 which worked flawlessly with my iPhone. After having owned an iPhone since they came out, I took the plunge on a Google Pixel and now I cannot get Android auto to function. I tried two different cables, updated the firmware, launched Android Auto from the phone, etc...
