Ahhhh, the internet - never mind that I'm quoted as saying, "I hate to be a 'future chaser' " and "might just wait", I still got snarked. LOL - Awesome.

This choice is killin' me. I've had an upgrade available for a few weeks now and I cannot pull the trigger on either of these. I love my Droid X - it was my gatway device into rooting, hacking, modding, etc. The blur and bloat was never an issue for me, as I jumped in and rooted straight away...

My new look with MIUI - It's a bunch of different themes mixed together, but using that ICS Framework. It is so fast is super-smooth that I am dreading the day it's time to upgrade: Here's the Homescreen: And here is the lockscreen:

Man, that was cake. I just flashed it right over top of .588, no wipe, no nothing, and all was fine. Bring on the ROMs.

Good lord this has been an adventure. Just flashed the deodexed update, dropped the HC boot animation in place. I also got the pesky "endless sync" in the notification after the first flash-a-thon, but wiped data and cache prior to this last deodexed flash, so hopefully that'll fix it. NOTE...
