I crop the image to remove the unwanted items and set it as wallpaper. It's perfect now and wifey is happy. Thanks all!

Bingo! That was it. My wifey said her home screen was from a screenshot so it picked up everything. We thank you.

When I swipe down no notifications are shown. It appears notifications are shown on both sides of the notifications bar.

My wife has a Samsung S24. We cleared the notifications by swiping down and tapped Clear. However there are numerous app icons that remain visible in the notification bar at top of screen. We've rebooted, turn notifications on and off, turned off and on Notification History. TIA

I repeated the same steps again and it linked my AOL mail to my Gmail. I went in Gmail settings, tapped link account, followed instructions and it worked.

If it ever starts working, I'll post a follow up. Thanks again.

I did that. It added my aol addy to the drop down icon in Gmail app where you select which address mail to see. I have two Gmail accounts and the AOL account to chose from. The only problem is the AOL is not linked to either Gmail accounts like it used to be. The AOL mail is inundated with spam...

I didn't see a drop down menu in settings. Settings showed options for how the aol could be arranged and displayed. It did a a more settings selection. I clicked on it but it didn't have an "Options" in its settings.

I created an app password. Tried to add my aol mail to Check Mail in Gmail settings. Still not working.

Using 3rd party app.

I get email or password error. I verified they are correct by logging out of AOL and logging back into AOL.
