I'm getting spam texts on my Samsung Galaxy Watch Pro 5. However these same texts do not show on my S22 Ultra. Apparently they are being sent to the watch's number and not the phone's number. The watch shares a plan and data with my phone. If I call the watch's number, it does not connect. I use the Samsung Wear app and Samsung Messages app. Is there a setting to block spam or individual numbers for the watch? TIA

It sounds like they are blocked on your phone and not on your watch. Try this.

On Your Galaxy Watch
  1. Block from a Spam Message: Open the spam text, tap the sender, and select "Block number" or "Report Spam," which often blocks and notifies the carrier.
  2. Samsung Messages Settings: Open the Messages app on your watch, tap the three dots (More options) > Settings > Block numbers and spam to manage blocked lists.
  3. Wearable App Settings: Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, go to Watch settings > Notifications, and check "App notifications" for Samsung Messages to ensure they're allowed but can be managed.

On Your S22 Ultra (Affects Watch)

  1. Samsung Messages Spam Protection: Open Samsung Messages on your phone, tap the three dots > Settings > Block numbers and spam > Spam protection, and turn it on.
Let us know what you find.

1. I found "Blocknumber" and block it. Before I hadn't scrolled down far enough to see it. I thought it just included quick responses.
2. The number wasn't there.
3. They are allowed and I can toggle.

I think number 1. will take care of it.

Thank you very much!
