Got my red ZF2 today (too) and 2 probs so far. The first is how incredibly hard it is to remove the back cover (had to get son's gf to do it for me with her big scary nails after I couldn't open it), and it performed a system update first thing after initial setup and now it no longer can detect...

Brand new Zenfone2 arrived today and right out of the box, requested to perform system update. When it was complete, the ph can't detect the SIM anymore. Geez.

Mine has a round dark spot in the center of the viewfinder in all pics using rear cam and in video. It's lighter gray around outer edge of the spot, darker gray toward the center. No plastic over lens. Cleaned lens, rebooted ph, checked all cam settings but it's always there.

Re: how do i remove unwanted items such as geo news GeoNews won't even let you turn it off. Turn off appears in application manager for the app only after you uninstall the update but it is grayed out so can't be selected. Why do we HAVE to keep all these stupid bloatware apps? We should have...

I have the same problem with an HTC Sensation 4G that just suddenly did this after a yank-the-battery reboot. Pulling the unlock ring does nothing. I cannot pull down notification bar. I can do NOTHING. Now what???
