Get Note 10/10 Plus Cases for free

Are we supposed to reply to that email? Like you said, the info is already submitted with the form and in the body of the email from the reviews address.

    Text messaging application.

With AT&T, you have one choice if you want the Advanced Messaging features to work, and that's the stock clients that ship with the phone. I used to switch prior to the rollout of those features, but now I'm a hostage. :(

For $350.. anyone actually interested in this new Palm device?

I want this... Not just for my Palm nostalgia, but there are definite times when a Note 9 isn't portable enough. If I could have a second device that's smaller like this AND keeps the same number, I'd be all over it. Unfortunately, I'm tied to AT&T, and the price is a definite no-go.

    what was your first smartphone?

RIM 6710 - https://www.cnet.com/products/rim-blackberry-610214608901/review/ I had to help support these for our execs, so I got one too. Monochrome screens FTW

What's your current and 'ideal' monitor setup?

The hub of all-things work & play... 3x Dell Ultrasharp u2415 (16:10, 1900x1200) monitors fed by: 1) Alienware Aurora R7 (Liquid cooled 8700k, GTX 1080, etc.- I know... but I was long overdue for an upgrade, and with GPU prices being what they are, anything I built with similar specs cost the...

    Anyone Getting the "Itch"

Same for me... I have a hard time sticking with any phone for more than 6 months, but we're really reaching peak smartphone here. The Note 8 covers all the bases. The biggest thing keeping me from switching compulsively these days is carrier lock-in, too. If you're on AT&T and switch to...

Why would you NOT use the stock messaging app?

Simple for me... If you're on AT&T and don't use the stock app (on a supported AT&T Wi-fi Calling phone, that is), you lose the ability to send/receive texts over wifi. I used Textra for ages and have played around with just about every app there is out there, but given that I now spend 2-3...

    Reset step counts

There doesn't appear to be a way to manually reset on demand. It starts counting new steps when the day changes. I'd be concerned about the fact that it thinks you're walking when you're sleeping, though... especially if you are walking. :)

Gear fit 2 unable to control music

I'm able to do it on mine. Directly in the middle above the track title on the main playback screen, it shows the selected playback source. Touching that icon toggles between the band and phone for me and gives me a dialog indicating that I've changed sources.

    G board and gifs.

re: Same, but I use Swiftkey & Tenor GIF with the stock keyboard. All you have to do is type a pound sign (#) in the message text, and tenor pops up it's GIF insert dialog. Works like a charm, and you don't lose any functionality (ex.- live messages, Message Backup & Sync or texting over...

Samsung Calendar Notifications Keep Screen On Post-Nougat

Now I just got an update Samsung Pay up to version 2.7.11, and lo and behold, the calendar notification issue appears to be fixed!!! I just ran a test with a notification on all 3 devices I had with the issue (S8+, S7E, and Note 5), and after the notification fires in the default calendar and...

Samsung Calendar Notifications Keep Screen On Post-Nougat

You mean the phone staying on during a call? That also went away for me when I either 1) Turned off the favorites in Samsung Pay or 2) backgrounded the dialer screen while in a call

Are you able to get full LTE functionality on AT&T?

Re: Question for those on AT&T... I'm in the same boat here after monitoring the posts over on XDA. My employment arrangement prevents me from ever leaving AT&T (or fighting with them regarding feature support), and my home/work/frequently-traveled locations basically necessitate having a...

    AT&T and unlocked phone

They will work but you won't get the full advanced feature experience. Namely, no VoLTE, HD Voice, Wifi Calling, Video calling... I think there is a modification to make at least some of that work, but that's outside of the realm of the average user.

Where is the WiFi Calling setting?

This is really disappointing if true. I got rid of my OnePlus 3t in favor of the U11 specifically because an HTC rep guaranteed that the U11 was certified for VoLTE and Wifi Calling. Here's a transcript of my conversation for the curious
